Camp Shakespeare at STG Studio

The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is proud to partner with STG Studio to bring our unique performing arts camp experience to the Lee's Summit community this summer.

Since 1997, Camp Shakespeare has been bringing Shakespeare to life with enriching and engaging experiences for young people.

In this week-long intensive, students will receive a one-of-a-kind experience working with professional theatre artists as they learn the basics of Shakesperean history and acting techniques, as well as stage combat, improvisation, costume and prop design and building, and other performing arts skills. This intensive will culminate in a performance of selections from Shakespeare's classic plays on Friday, August 9 at 6:00 p.m.

For ages 12-18. August 5-9, 2024. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
